Gherkin versus the Shard
When Norman Foster (a fellow Reddishion) designed the Gherkin, it's presence when erected, instantly grabbed the reigns of the marvelling looks Sleigh. It was the ultimate subject when shot by helicopters to depict London on TV programs. That was until the Shard came along with it's dynamic shape, it's blinding light reflects, and its intimidating stance, thus kicking the sweet little Gherkins ass into oblivion and taking the title of number 1 line in the sky. This is what this illustration is about.
